Beginners Landscape / Seascape Workshop. 24th November 2012

Charlies Beach, Toe Head.
A one day workshop to be held on Saturday 24th November 2012, on the coast, meeting at 9.30 am and carrying on until 5.00 pm, moving from Union Hall to Reen Pier and onto Warren Strand and Long Strand later in the day.

This is a workshop for the absolute beginner or improver. There will be 2 lecturers in attendance, ensuring everyone gets personal attention.

We will cover the basics of aperture, shutter, ISO, metering and white balance. We will show the use of filters and tripods. You will learn the basics of composition, depth of field and hyperfocal focusing. Above all else, by the end of the day you will have a greater understanding of the controls on your DLSR camera.

We will show you how to make great photographs no matter what the weather is.

We will photograph, beaches, boats and sand dunes. Showing how to make the best photographs you can, controlling compostition, depth of field etc.

You need to bring your camera equipment, batteries fully charged, a packed lunch and a note book and pen to make your own notes.

The cost of the course is reduced to 75.00 euros per person.

A comprehensive set of notes on the basics of photography will be supplied.

Lunch, drinks and any entrance fees are NOT included in the course fee.
